Overview

I have been a pure admirer of technological developments that have been taking over at such a pace day by day and believe that through it we have a tool to help everyone and carve a better and comfortable future together. Alongside my Bachelor’s Degree, I have been concentrating my focus on skill development through projects at every level possible. I have been following it through the field of robotics and planning to pursue a career in it in the near future. Being part of a purely robotics dedicated community full of technology enthusiasts would be something I would like to be a part of and surely a lifetime experience worth having and I am motivated to achieve the same through my efforts.

The competition is hosted by the Defence Research and Development organization of India, with three rounds of evaluation, Qualifying, Zonals and the Nationals. Theme revolves around designing and prototyping robotics and automation solutions to the difficulties encountered by our defence forces. We conceptualized and designed a Sand Submarine as a solution to perform concealed surveillance operation in border territory with desert terrain.

Modular Robotics

Started as a project in ERC (Electronics & Robotics Club) club, Bits Goa, this semester our proposal got accepted for fabrication in the sandbox laboratory recently setup in college. Beginning with an entirely new module design I prepared the CAD model completely from scratch and along with other team members successfully prepared the control system, configured the communication setup, programmed and tested the complete module assembly by the end of the semester.

Prepared an aiming and disc throwing bot as per the theme specified. I was an active part in the team as a mechanical lead and one of the four members of the pit crew team as a mechanical assist.
